How did your experiences as a student prepare you for your military career?
My experiences in AFJROTC prepared me really well for military service with the amazing guidance from the late Lt. Col. Steele. He exemplified excellence in all he did and did not fall short in pushing all of his students to do the same. His leadership is something I remember and carry to this day and definitely in my years of serving.

What advice would you give current students and/or fellow alumni who are considering a career in the military?
Be prepared to become the best version of yourself! Embrace the experience and it will give you tools you will carry the rest of your life. Whether it be dedication to your career, new friendships, life lessons, or seeing the world like you never have before, it will change you for the better if you allow it!

Any other words of wisdom or stories you'd like to share?
Just be. Embrace a life of action and if it doesn't go as planned, embrace the new journey knowing you tried. We all would be better have oh wells in our lives than what-ifs.
