Bio

Went to University of Southern Mississippi majoring in Vocal Music Education on a 5-year Army ROTC scholarship. Commissioned in the Army in May 1996 into the Adjutant General Corps. Married in January 2002 and immediately deployed to Afghanistan. Achieved the rank of Captain in the Army and transferred to the United States Air Force in Aug 2002 as a Captain. Retired from the Air Force in 2014 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Subsequently worked in Dallas Independent School District, FEMA, the Veterans Administration, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Now reside in Oklahoma with wife and two children.
