Bio

Robert Roy Foresman is a Bellevue East High School alumnus with deep roots in Bellevue and a lifelong interest in preserving Nebraska’s local history. A U.S. Army veteran, historian, and graduate researcher, Robert has focused much of his scholarly work on Nebraska history, public memory, historic preservation, and the overlooked stories of Great Plains communities. He is currently involved in efforts supporting Bellevue’s museum initiative and the broader preservation of Nebraska’s historical identity, including research, documentation, and community advocacy related to local artifacts, historic structures, and public history planning. Robert is proud to represent Bellevue East and remains committed to preserving and sharing Bellevue's history for future generations.
